About us

Imagine you could stay in a boutique hotel but only pay for the part of it you actually use. At Pangea, that’s what we’ve created – designer pod accommodation that’s affordable, central, and social. It’s a hub where guests can meet like-minded travelers, enjoy an espresso or craft beer in The Living Room or a shaken cocktail on The Rooftop Patio, but still have their own personal space at the end of the day. Best of all, we put it right in the heart of Whistler’s iconic village, just a couple minutes stroll from Whistler Blackcomb’s gondolas.

LOCATION.

Whoever coined the phrase “Location. Location. Location.” might well have been thinking of Pangea (if we had been around then). If we shake your cocktail too much we might wet the benches in the gondolas.

DESIGN.

Of course, it’s only fun to throw down your bags in the best spot in town if the finishes are great too, so we’ve spent an inordinate amount of time on our interior design. We’d challenge any 4-star hotel (and quite a few 5-star ones too) to a design contest.

PRIVACY.

Not so much as a hotel (and we’re completely upfront and even proud about that), but far more than a hostel. For our money (and perhaps yours too), it’s just the right level.

PRICE.

And yes, in case we forget to mention, we charge less than a comparable hotel. A lot less.
